Counselling is a talking therapy, which allows you to talk about your problems in a confidential and safe place. Together we find out more about you in a curious and non-jugmental manner.
This might include talking about life events, (past and present), feelings, emotions, relationships, ways of thinking and patterns of behaviour that are difficult for you at the moment. Together we will try and find ways to bring about change.
Talking about these things may take time, and will not necessarily all be included in one session. The number of sessions offered depend on your need at this point. We will decide this together at the start of therapy.
